Beyond chemicals, how does the idea of medication function on our identities and upon our view of ourselves?
This film contains no medical advice. It is a film. Within it, people voice their own subjective experience. It is neither promoting nor criticising any particular ideology.
only criticism from my survivor perspective would be the absence of a voice like/similar to mine which resisted drugging, was forced, eventually got off antipsychotics, made a full recovery, 3 times; latterly coming off psych drug cocktail myself; 4th psychosis 2015 no psychiatry— Chrys Muirhead (@ChrysMuirhead) June 2, 2018
I liked the first half of film better than second half; will play it again to see why; there seemed to be more insights to begin with whereas later it became more like a video made "by" MH services; which is interesting; as if the aim was to curry favour with funders; just saying— Chrys Muirhead (@ChrysMuirhead) June 2, 2018
it's to do with editing of voices in this film I think; whoever has constructed it has made it that way on purpose (I edit my own stuff so know what that's like) I'd have liked to see the film end with more questions, challenges, with a "bite" to it; as in, chewy— Chrys Muirhead (@ChrysMuirhead) June 2, 2018
